Often they will occur when the user is editing a cell that uses either the StandardForm or TraditionalForm format types. They may also occur as a front end attempts to intrepret and display the contents of a cell that has been just loaded or generated. Is it true that the errors occur when a notebook, saved by a Mathematica 4 front end, is reopened on a Mathematica 3.0.x front end?
