Change GroupOpenCloseIcon?

Is there some way to change the size (or other characteristics) of the triangle symbol that is used when the option ShowGroupOpenCloseIcon -> True is used for groups in Mathematica (version 4.0)? Or is that size hard-wired into the front end? I would like to enlarge it, so as to make it easier to "hit" when giving live presentations with Mathematica.
