Hi, I have been desperately trying to export some graphs I generated in Mathematica into external files which I can include in a power points presentation I have to give early next week. My problem is that seemingly no matter what font I use, the Export command gives me an error message indicating an arcane Postscript error. When I then try to view the figure I get more errors indicating that certain fonts were not found and that certain symbols won't display properly. Do tell. For instance, when I export to PDF and read the result into Adobe Acrobat, all my minus signs look like dots, all my parentheses look like unreadable figures, etc. I've tried a variety of different fonts in the Mathematica coding that generates these files. And I've tried different export types (e.g., Windows Metafont). There is obviously something basic I'm missing, although I've scourered the FAQ at Wolfram and the Help Browser. All this stuff indicates that what I'm trying to do ought to work just fine with the possible exception of an export to EPS, which I've long since abandoned. Any guidance or direction to an FAQ or help resource that actually clarifies this would be really appreciated! Many thanks! ---michael a. morrison physics department university of oklahoma
