Hi Mathgroup:

I work with files in different directories, and is very tedious to skip
between many subdirectories each time that I want to open a file, with
the file selector. There are some fast and easy way to change the
directory that appear in the file selector? Searching in
Options[$FrontEnd], Option's inspector->Global options->Dialog settings,
the init.m file in my home directory, etc. was not useful.
My idea is to make some buttons with the names of the directories, and
clicking in one of these, it will open the file selector in the desired
subdirectory and make my life easier.

Thanks
