Dear Mathematica users

I use dead_keys to accentuate in portuguese (a dead_key folowed by certain
letters will accentuate them and when folowed by -space- make them (the
dead_keys) appear as such). In my conditions, Mathematica 4.0 for Linux
lacks these keys ( ' " ` ~ ^). I went through several FAQ's and HOWTO's but
could not solve this problem.
I am using Suse 6.3 Linux distribution and
Toshiba Satellite 2545 XCDT

Thanks in advance for any help

Eduardo
