When Mathematica's built-in Limit is does not seem to work the next 
thing to do is to load the Calculus`Limit` package:

<< Calculus`Limit`

Once you have done this you get:

In[2]:=
Limit [Exp[x] * (1/x^2), x-> Infinity]

Out[2]=
Infinity

and

In[3]:=
Limit[E^x/x!,x->Infinity]

Out[3]=
0

There is an even better and more reliable method: just use your own 
brain!
