Julio,

Use the Standard Package Algebra`InequalitySolve`.

Needs["Algebra`InequalitySolve`"]

InequalitySolve[1 + y == 0 && x > 1/2 && x + y >= 0, {x, y}]
x >= 1 && y == -1

InequalitySolve[1 + y == 0 && x > 1/2 && x + y >= 0 && -1 <= x <= 1, {x, y}]
x == 1 && y == -1
