The best approach is perhaps as follows: 1) Select the cell you want to copy
from i.e., click on the cell bracket; 2)  then Cell | Convert To | Input
Form; 3)  then Edit | Copy As | Plain Text; 4) Paste on your e-mail message.
Of course, things other than ASCII first 128 characters will not go well,
but having converted first to input form ensures you copy proper text.
