Harald, Make a grid in, say, a text cell (Control+Return, Control+Return , will make one with three rows) Type into the rows, using example Font, FontSize ..from the Format Menu. Select the grid, not the cell, and use the grid options from the OptionInspector (RowSpacings and ColumnAlignments for example). Copy the resulting grid and paste it between " and " in FrameLabel -> " ". You may want to use RotateLabel ->False. -- Allan --------------------- Allan Hayes Mathematica Training and Consulting Leicester UK www.haystack.demon.co.uk hay at haystack.demon.co.uk Voice: +44 (0)116 271 4198 Fax: +44 (0)870 164 0565 "Harald von der Osten-Woldenburg" <hvdosten at lb.netic.de> wrote in message news:a6klnf$d5v$1 at smc.vnet.net... > Hi, > > if there are pretty long labels I have seen that it is possible to force > line-breakings with an "\n".
