Has anyone defined and experimented with resultant of interferences for use
as rules of cellular automata growth? These "periodicitiy" behaviors defined
by Joseph Schillinger in the 1940s for musical applications from rhythmic
durations to virtually any other musical parameter seem "ripe" for
experimenting with graphical images to explore their pattens and
complexities of "growth".
