E, not e, stands for the Napierian base.

Subject: [mg37524] [mg37474] machine-size problem again?

Dear experts,

I have a trouble in plotting e^x.
Plot[e^x, {x, 1, 4}]

It keeps telling me:
e^x is not a machine-size real number at x = 1.000000125
e^x is not a machine-size real number at x = 1.1217009747187472
e^x is not a machine-size real number at x = 1.2544263995781209;

Even I have added the modifier "Evaluate".
Plot[Evaluate[e^x], {x, 1, 4}]
The output is the same.

Please help! Thanks.
