```Try something less clumsy, eg :

Plot[#1,{#2,-5,5}]&@@@Transpose[{FuncList,VarList}]

or why not have a particular symbol for the independent variable - then just
map the plot command over the FuncList :

Plot[#,{t,-5,5}]&/@{Exp[t],Sin[t],t^3}
