Please forgive me. I slipped up when typing this message yesterday. 

The second linearly independent solution
 (c) is y3[z,v] = E^(-z^2 /2) z Hypergeometric1F1[(1-v)/2,3/2,z^2]-
which is manifestly of odd symmetry.
