Hi.

Something is wrong when I use Power within TimeConstrained.
It is reproducible like below,

command :=  TimeConstrained[While[True, 10^200]; True, 1, False]

While[True, command]

After about 30 sec., the kernel dies (on Windows) or segmentation
fault occurs (on Linux). Strange to say, using any function except
for Power, this phenomenon doesn't occur.

My Mathematica is version 4.0.1.0 Student both for Windows and
Linux, and 3.0.1.1x Student for Windows. My CPU are Pentium III and
AthlonXP.

I heard from Japanese Mathematica mailing list that this
phenomenon occurs also on version 4.2 for Mac OS X, Windows
and Linux.

Does anyone have an advice for me?
