In[1]:= tay[x_, vars___] := Module[{s, t}, t = x /. (#1 -> s*#1 & ) /@
{vars}; Normal[Series[t, {s, 0, 1}]] /. s -> 1]

In[2]:= tay[A + B*sigma + C*epsilon + D*sigma*epsilon  + X epsilon^2,
sigma, epsilon]

Out[2]= A + C epsilon + B sigma
