With the recent publication of the polynomial time algorithm for primality testing see http://mathworld.wolfram.com/news/2002-08-07_primetest I wondered if anyone is in a position to verify (or controvert) the primality of the 3057-digit probable prime formed from digits 19 through 3075. of Pi. It was originally found using Mathematica and is 8462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286208998628034825342 11 ... 708303906979207 (NJAS Integer Sequence A047777). Cheers -- Mark R.
