Is there a built-in Mathematica function to "round" or "chop" the numerical value of a number (Integer, Real, or Complex) to its first n significant digits (padding with zeros if needed)? -- "Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Lord Acton (1834-1902) "Dependence on advertising tends to corrupt. Total dependence on advertising corrupts totally." (today's equivalent)
