The 2003 Mathematica Developer Conference will be held at the
Hawthorne Suites in Champaign, Illinois. This year, the conference
will take place in the spring, from April 10-12, a departure from its
usual fall timing. Early-bird registration ends March 1, so register
online soon.

The Mathematica Developer Conference is an invaluable resource for
users and developers who are interested in creating Mathematica-based
tools, products, or courseware. During the conference, members of the
Wolfram Research technical staff will present a road map of future
versions of Mathematica as well as in-depth details of many core
functions. Other selected talks will focus on topics including large,
computationally intensive uses of Mathematica: applications utilizing
J/Link, webMathematica, XML/MathML, or parallel computing, and
Mathematica-based courseware. A full list of presentations has been
posted on the conference website.

Just prior to the conference, Wolfram Education Group will be offering
M220: Programming in Mathematica at the special rate of $500 to
conference attendees. The training course will be held on April 8 and
9, and will be taught by Roman Maeder, one of the developers of
Mathematica. You may choose to enroll in this class when registering
for the conference.
