I recently got a copy of Mathematica 4.2.1.0. I've been noticing several font issues since loading. A command like Plot[x,{x,0,1},Frame\[Rule]True,TextStyle\[Rule]{FontSize\[Rule]12}] Causes the horizontal axis to be covered over by the tick labels (the default TextStyle settings seem to work). Also, all previous plots that I've stored on my machine in wmf form now have font problems (the classic parenthesis turn into giant H's). Running same examples in 4.2.0 on same machine causes same problems, indicating font install issue. Running same cases on another machine that has never seen 4.2.1 works as expected. Anyone seen similar problems? Suggestions? I'll probably uninstall everything, and start over with 4.2.0. Gerry Flanagan
