Setting working directory

Hello friends, I would like to change my default working directory to a new one that I have made. I know I can use SetDirectory["MyWorkingDirectory"] but that only works for that particular Mathematica session. How can I change the default working Directory and file search Path as Global Options that gets loaded each time I run Mathematica? Thank you very much, raz
