Oliver: You make a good point. I skim through the newsgroup almost daily. However, I had stop responding to question for many reasons. I have helped a few people offline whose questions were never formaly answered, I did ask them to post the correspondence to no avail in each case. Plus too many so called bugs reports, this OS is better than that OS, timing issues, fear of being flamed for me. The positive side is a great moderator, some core mathematica experts, and a good place to get answers. It is quite possible that the questions are getting more technical requiring users to gleem more information directly from the post.
