solving equations

Hi,
I run
Solve[{FOC00 == a0, FOC01 == b0, FOC10 == a1, FOC11 == b1, eq00 ==
c0, eq01 == d0, eq02 == e0, eq10 == c1, eq11 == d1,
eq12 == e1}, {a0, b0, a1, b1, c0, d0, e0, c1, d1, e1}]
with each of equation is several lines of long of quadratic equations
of each variables. I have run Mathematica for several hours but it
does not give the result. Is it normal ? What will be an average
estimat to solve these equations ?
