You can use LiveGraphics3D
http://wwwvis.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/~kraus/LiveGraphics3D/
However, the output of this is not directly viewable in Mathematica. It
generates a java applet of the Plot3D output that can be seen in a web
browser
