The macros that Acrobat inserts into Word seem to work OK (on my install, I've got Acrobat buttons at the top). They just do what you said. The trick is to make sure that the default settings for Distiller include embedding fonts. The macro apparently launches an Acrobat printer (to PS), and then the distiller. Gerry F.
