Mike,

For this question you should give more information. What exactly is the
Mathematica form of aa? You could use something like the following.

{{0, , 0}, {0, 0, 0}, {0, 0,}}
% /. Null -> 0

{{0, Null, 0}, {0, 0, 0}, {0, 0, Null}}
{{0, 0, 0}, {0, 0, 0}, {0, 0, 0}}

Hi all,

I have an uneven matrix
      /  0   0 \
aa=  |   0 0 0  |
      \  0 0    /
I want to fill the empty spaces with 0's, how do I do that.

thank you
