MathGroup:
Do all of a Notebook's Option Browser settings remain after it is
e-mailed? For example, my 1200x1600 pixel screen displays Times font
best with 1.67 Magnification. After changing Global Font
Magnification to 1.67, I've found some notebooks hang on to
Magnification = 1, and I have to reset them to 1.67 with the Option
Browser. However, when I inspect these notebooks with a text editor,
their code contains neither "Magnification" nor "1.67".
This raises the question of what happens to a Notebook's settings when
it is e-mailed? Typically, I would want notebooks set at
Magnification = 1.67 to retain this setting. I have the impression
that non-standard font magnifications will get lost in transmission.
Does anyone know a way to guard against Notebook "transmission
losses"?
Regards,
Harold
