I have also had problems with the results of saving to XML (XHTML +
MathML). This is with Mathematica 5.0.1 under Windows XP Professional SP1.

I create a one-cell (input cell) notebook Integral.nb consisting of the
definite integral of x with respect to x from -1 to 1, using the
integral symbol template from the Basic Input palette. I Save As
Special...XML (XHTML+MathML) to file Integral.html.

When I view this page in Mozilla 1.5, with the appropriate math fonts
installed, I see a small integral sign, a -1, a 1 an x and a dx all on a
single line: the bounds of integration are not displayed as subscript
and superscript on (what should, I presume, be a larger) integral sign.

Here is the source for Integral.html, including the MathML. If somebody
wants to see the .css, .dtd, .ent, and .xsl files that were generated, I
can post them or even include them in-line in a further message.
