Hi,

If Min[{}] were less than Infinity, then the inequality

	Min[Union[A,B]] <= Min[A]

would fail in some cases. (Namely, when A={} and Min[B] > Min[{}] )

This is somewhat similar in spirit to Plus@@{} = 0 and Times@@{} = 1.
