The option should be:

PlotStyle -> (RGBColor[#, 0, 0] & /@ colortable)

But that still gives the first color for all the points.

This works, however:

atable = Table[Random[Integer, {1, 10}], {50}, {3}];
colortable = Table[Random[Real, {0, 1}], {50}];
red = RGBColor[#, 0, 0] &
Show[Graphics3D at {PointSize[.02], Transpose@{red /@
            colortable, Point /@ atable}}]
