I have a nearly complete implementation of the RenderMan interface
bindings done for Mathematica. This is a resurrection of a project, if
you can believe it, started back when I was at Pixar and Stephen called
us to see if there was some way we could all work together on
something. (well, it's much more complicated, but boring).
Note that it isn't an export format (although that is pretty trivial,
given the bindings) but rather the whole RI implementation, allowing
you to set up entire scenes renderable by RenderMan Interface-compliant
renderers.
It isn't totally ready for prime time with respect to distribution,
but, 1) if you're fault tolerant and 2) willing to help finish off the
port (or put together the builds for other platforms, right now its
MacOS X using Xcode, but is trivially movable to Makefile-land) contact
me and I'll share.
