Hi,
There is GUIKit and it is best to use the examples as your help documents
to start with. Also there is JLink which will allow you to use everything
that Java has to offer. Search for JLink documents and tutorials in the
Wolfram website.
Below is a link where you can find some examples other than those
contained in the help files.
