Hi Chris,

Importing vector graphics in mathematica does not work in most cases. However, I have found 2 ways to do it in a linux environment:

1) Use Xfig . Export your dwawing to eps format and import it with mathematica. Do not use fonts: they do not scale.
2) Use Qcad 2.x (DXF dwawing program ). Print to file in eps format and import it with mathematica. Because fonts are build with little lines, there is no prblem with font scaling

I hope this works for you,

Kind regards,

Eerke Holle.

P.S.:
If you use xfig or qcad under Windows something bad (?) happens to the eps-format: Mathematica complains about the format. Apparantly EPS comes in 1001 flavours.
