It is difficult to determine what you really want to know here.

You could be asking whether it is possible to use the 'inverse error function' in Microsoft Excel. But that would be off-topic for this group.

You could be asking whether it is possible to use a Mathematica function within Microsoft Excel. If so, yes if you get the Excel Mathlink program. See

Or perhaps you are asking if you can use a Microsoft Excel function within Mathematica. I don't know whether that is possible or not. But since Mathematica offers much superior numerical routines than Excel, why would anyone want to do this?

For me, now that Import and Export allow Mathematica to read/write to Excel files, I've no use for Excel except perhaps as a convienent data entry screen.
