Re: how to make conditional summation


If f[0] is defined

Sum[f[m],{m,-N,N}]-f[0]

If f[0] is not defined, either

Sum[f[m]+f[-m],{m,1,N}]

or 

f[0]=0;

Sum[f[m],{m,-N,N}]
