If you have read _Foundations of Fluid Mechanics with Applications_ could
you, please, provide an assessment of the book? 

I have a fairly solid understanding of the basics of physics and the
Calculus of several variables. What I'm most interested in are methods of
visualizing the geometric arguments used to derive such things as the
Reynolds Transport Theorem, as well as modeling physical systems.  In
particular, hurricanes.  Would this book be a good place to get a solid
grounding in the physics involved in modeling hurricanes, and the like?
