Of course - please try:
INPUT:

Simplify[((t^4 - 1)*(t^2 - 9)*(t - 9)^2)/

((t^4 - 81)*(t^2 + 1)*(t + 1)^2)]

OUTPUT:

((-9 + t)^2*(-1 + t))/((1 + t)*(9 + t^2))

INPUT:

FullSimplify[((t^4 - 1)*(t^2 - 9)*

(t - 9)^2)/((t^4 - 81)*(t^2 + 1)*

(t + 1)^2)]

OUTPUT:

1 - 20/(1 + t) + 90/(9 + t^2)
