Hi.

Your work seems to be OK, but your result does not work correcly.

If I have, for example

G = .7 - .25 I
p = .08 + .09 I

I obtain, using your solutions:

{ray -> 0. + 1.6972035823671832*I, XCenter -> -0.68985, 
 YCenter -> -0.246375}

ray is imaginary...

Instead, it must to be real and positive (naturally).
