Hi Charlie, solution number one is to get the Digital Image Processing
package, solution number two is:

img = Import[filename, "JPEG"];

rawdata = img[[1,1]];

{r,g,b} = Transpose[Transpose/@rawdata];

ListDensityPlot[Abs[Fourier[r]], Mesh->False];
