The DrawGraphics package contains commands that allow you to mask parts
of a plot, making it look like you have only plotted in the region you
choose.

There is documentation in the DrawGraphics help that shows how to do
this for the 2D and 3D cases.

Look here for a complete example where I used that technique to plot
the minimum of two linear programming problems (2D contour plots):

The only catch is, the DrawGraphics package is commercial; it's current
price is listed on David Park's site:

Maybe it would be a good idea for Mr. Park to put an html version of
the help pages up - you know, to show what can be done?
