Hello, actually i have mathematica in version 4.0 installed. Now i want to build a UI for a given mathematica program. I have downloaded MathLink, J/Link and NET/Link from www.wolfram.com, and so they should run in the latest version. But when i want to initialize the Link, i got an error: Here is the code: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In[1]:= <<NETLink` In[2]:= InstallNET[] LinkOpen::"linke": "MathLink error: \!\(\"the linkname was missing or not in \ the proper form\"\)" InstallNET::"fail": "A link to the .NET runtime could not be established. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i become desperate, i need that program to work. In advance: Thank you for your help. Andreas Baumbach TU BA Freiberg
