webMathematica 2.3, now available from Wolfram Research, capitalizes on
the 64-bit performance of Mathematica 5.2 to deliver increased memory
and CPU availability across all major platforms. The new version expands
the size and scope of scientific problems that websites can reliably
tackle, enabling users to serve even their most robust Mathematica
content online or throughout any enterprise.
In addition to the latest web-development options and Java Servlet
technology, webMathematica 2.3 introduces:
* 64-bit-enhanced arbitrary-precision numerics
* Multithreading support for numerical linear algebra
* Major vectorization speed-ups
* RSS and vCard import
* Enhanced charts and visualizations
Mathematica Premier Service customers can request a complimentary copy
of webMathematica Amateur 2.3, which features the full functionality of
webMathematica Professional with some usage restrictions.
