Mathematica 5.2 for the Intel Mac is now available for download
from the Wolfram Research webstore. Premier Service customers
are eligible for a free update or system transfer.

This Mathematica Universal release capitalizes on the increased
speed of the Intel Core Duo processor chip and is able to run on
both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Mac users will appreciate the
improved performance of their favorite productivity tool on this
new platform.

Since Mathematica's first release, Wolfram Research has made it
a point to support the Macintosh environment even when others
haven't. Now, even though Apple's release of the first Intel Mac
systems came nearly six months ahead of schedule, Wolfram
Research has begun shipping the Universal version of Mathematica
5.2 today.
