Virgil,
I think you intend to ask about the following expression

(1 + Sum[(s*\[Rho])^k/k!/((s*\[Rho])^s/(s!*(1 - \[Rho]))),
    {k, 0, s - 1}])^(-1)

(Convert to InputForm and Copy As Plain Text, or use the CopyAsInputFormK
button on my SetFaceAndFont palette if that does not work).
In this form it is almost readable directly in the email.

Best regards

It seems the characters were fouled up (at least when I read my own
posting), so here it is again, and hopefully
the characters are being converted correctly this time.

I am trying to evaluate the limit of the following expression as s goes to
infinity,

\!\(\((1 + \[Sum]\+\(k = 0\)\%\(s - 1\)\((\((s\ \
\[Rho])\)\^k\/\(k!\))\)/\((\((s\ \[Rho])\)\^s\/\(\(s!\) \((1 - \
\[Rho])\)\))\))\)\^\(-1\)\)

where, \[Rho]\ (Real) < 1, s (Integer) > 0. I am quite sure that the limit
is
0; but, I am unable to get this result using Mathematica 5.2.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
