I was having the same problem. Thanks to Acus's post I was able to
narrow down the cause by trial and error: It's the Compositing
extension. Disable it and everything should work fine. That's
unfortunate because compositing is pretty, but math is prettier so I
guess it's a noble sacrifice :-/
