Dear Cetin Haftaoglu

Oliver Ruebenkoenig and other researchers from the IMTEK Institute of the
Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg have created a Mathematica package that
includes Finite Element Analysis in Mathematica.

This package is free, it has many examples of applications of Finite Element
calculations (I wrote two of them), it includes interfaces with Ansys,
Tetgen, Triangle and other Finite Element programs.

This is the URL where you can download and install the package into your
Mathematica:

Have fun!

Dear Users,

I am looking for information or a good book (possible written in
german) that discribe the usage of Mathematica with other programs (own
FORTRAN/C/C++-programs or FEA-programs) and the interactivity between
the different parts.

My colleagues want to use Mathematica as a optimizer for paramter-studies
in a Finite Element Analyse.

I have no Mathematica book for Version 5. We have obtained the Version
5. as an update.

Regards and TIA,
Cetin Haftaoglu
