Hi Cetin, > I am looking for information or a good book (possible written in > german) that discribe the usage of Mathematica with other > programs (own FORTRAN/C/C++-programs or FEA-programs) and the > interactivity between the different parts. I'm not aware of any book, but IMTEK would be as good a place as any to start. Another place might be WRI's conferences. A few years ago, they had a talk from a company that used Mathematica to set up FEM's. Sorry I can't be more specific, but failing memory & several computer changes mean that my recollection is not what it should be. > My colleagues want to use Mathematica as a optimizer for > paramter-studies in a Finite Element Analyse. > > I have no Mathematica book for Version 5. We have obtained > the Version 5. as an update. The book is actually included in the online documentation. Regards, Dave.
