Well yeah, it probably is skewed, which is what I need to illustrate. Given
the mean, median as well as 25 and 75 percentiles, I should be able to do
this, right? I just have no idea how :) I'm still very much a beginner at
Mathematica.

A guy called Stern sent me an e-mail telling me to try to use a beta
distribution to try to "fit" the data. That might sound like a good idea, I
just don't know how to start doing it.

Thanks for your input so far! Maybe if someone knows of a beginners forum
that might be a better place to start rather than bugging all of the
mathgroup?

If it's truly a normal distribution, they have given you too much
information.

The mean and median would be exactly the same. The the location of any
quantile would be enough to get you the location of any other
quantile.
