Hi Dave, Thanks for the info: I was not aware that Microsoft had released such a set of tools. Checking their web site, I found plenty of information about Windows Services for Unix (SFU) 3.5, which is too fatty to my taste :-) I will stick with Cygwin on Windows and otherwise genuine Unix and Linux systems.
