Thanks Jean for verifying this.

I have Removed Manipulate from the outside of TabView. Now the problem seems
to have gone away. Now TabView is the main interface, and it calls
functions which uses Manipulate. Before I was using Manipulate which has
TabView inside it.

I am still learning all of this stuff, so I might not be doing it right :)
but I do not think Mathematica should crash none-the-less.

Any way, here is the current file, in case you are interested, which works
OK now (keep fingers crossed)

I like the new Mathematica GUI features, but I still have hard time
arranging stuff on it where I want them. For example, with TabView, when I
had too many tabs, I did not know how to tell it to make them stacked one on
top of each others, like in a 2 rows, so they do not go too far to the
right. Then I found I can make Alignment Left, which had more space to stack
them vertically, even though I wanted the Tabs at the top. So I compromised.

May be with more time, I'll get better at it. But it would be nice if the
next version of Mathematica comes with a GUI builder, where one can just
drag and drop controls where they want them. It would make it easier to
design an interface that way, I think.
