Dear MathGroup,

On behalf of Wolfram Research, I would like to apologize for the
confusion caused by our post about 6.0.1.

The good news is that the update is being made available to all users
of 6.0.0, whether they have Premier Service or not. However, you can't
simply go to our site to get the update.

Registered users will be receiving an email with details on how to get
the update. We are in the process of sending these messages out now.
In most cases, the message will contain a download link unique to each
license. In some cases, however, users will be told to contact our
Customer Service department instead of getting a download link.

Customers that access Mathematica through a site license will need to
contact their site administrator to get the update. All site
administrators have download access to the files already and will
receive master CD-ROM copies shortly.

I truly regret that our message wasn't clearer. I hope you will all
bear with us as we endeavor to get this update out to all of you who
have been working with version 6.

Sincerely,

Jean Buck
Director of Corporate Communications
Wolfram Research
